Who is Shri Ajay, in whose name this seva stands?
The name is a tribute — our team calls it "Tribute to a grand soul." In Shri Ajay's name this seva stands every year, and in his name every kanwariya is welcomed.
One work, every year
Shree Ajay Seva is a religious and social organisation in Dhampur. We are not a large institution and we have no row of offices. We do one thing — serve the Shiv devotees walking the Maha Shivratri Kanwad Yatra.
The feeling is in the name itself
One sentence is written over our camp gate — "आओ बाबा पधारो" (“Come, Baba, be welcomed”). That is our whole introduction. A devotee carrying Baba's water is not a guest to us — they are our own.
Five years, unbroken
In 2026 we held our 5th annual camp (2026). The camp runs entirely on the effort, discipline and seva-bhaav of volunteers — without them this gathering is not possible.
The camp's services have also been covered by local journalists.
No charge, no distinction
Every service at the camp is free. We take nothing from any kanwariya, and we make no distinction between them. Whoever arrives — sits, eats, rests, and carries on.
